Experience
Jennifer received her Masters in Physical Therapy from Boston University and has 30 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics. Her areas of specialty include: neck, back and pelvic/SIJ dysfunction as well as orthotics and foot/ankle injuries, including running and other gait issues. Jennifer is a skilled manual therapist, utilizing techniques such as Muscle Energy Technique (MET) to realign the spine, trigger point release, myofascial release, and other soft tissue mobilization techniques. As a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT), Jennifer was trained in Dry Needling from Myopain Seminars and has seen dramatic changes in muscle tension and reported pain level using this technique, as well as recent increased interest in this modality by physicians and the public. However, soft tissue work is only part of the rehab process so Jennifer also incorporates patient education in symptom management, postural and ergonomic changes and lifestyle changes needed in preventing re-occurrence. A Specific strengthening to correct weakness and imbalance is also important and Jennifer has a certification as a Personal Trainer (through American College of Sports Medicine) as well as being an avid exerciser and sport enthusiast. Although she has been a life-long runner, Jennifer started doing triathlons in 2007 and completed a half ironman in 2014. She also loves to garden, travel, and spend time with her family.

Brianna grew up as a competitive dancer and therefore has always been fascinated with the science behind movement. She blends this knowledge with her physical therapy skills in order to educate patients about their current condition. Brianna has experience in the outpatient orthopedic setting and is certified in performing arts medicine to help treat dancers, musicians, singers, gymnasts, cheerleaders, and figure skaters. In addition, Brianna enjoys working with the geriatric population to help maximize function and improve their quality of life.
